This is from the second run of THRILLUSIONS, featuring a new illusionist and a few cast replacements. I took the original design and, with input from the executive producer, redesigned aspects of it to reflect the new show. This design was used as the cover for show programs as well as a template for most print advertisements for both the Grand Casino performance in Tunica, MS, as well as a four night encore at Harrah's New Orleans Theatre. |

|
01.2008 |
This is the cover for the 2008 New Orleans Police Department Mardi Gras Operations Manual. I designed it on a volunteer basis for the 6th District, but it was utilized by the entire NOPD and other city officials, including Mayor Ray Nagin. |

While managing Magnolia Mansion, I also served as a personal assistant to the owner, who happens to be a Tina Turner impersonator. She executive produces a show called THRILLUSIONS, which made its world premiere at Harrah's New Orleans Theatre in Fall of 2007. This design was the result of a collaboration between the executive producer of THRILLUSIONS, the Harrah's marketing staff, and me. It was used as a cover for show programs, as well as a template for most print advertisements, including billboards. |

The
2006 Rock & Roll Wheel-a-thon was a fundraising
event I planned and executed for New Horizons Independent
Living Center to benefit people with disabilities. This
logo was designed to convey a vintage rock and roll
look, while promoting disability awareness. |

|
01.2006 |
This
is the logo I designed to represent New Horizons' advocacy
movement within the Shreveport-Bossier community. It
communicates the independent living philosophy as the
right and responsibility of all American citizens. |

This
is a banner ad featuring the commemorative Mardi Gras
beads I designed and sold to benefit the rebuilding
effort in New Orleans. I formed an organization called
the Crescent City Comeback Coalition and designed these
"Krewe of Katrina-Aide" beads two weeks after
Hurricane Katrina hit. They feature a fleur de lis and
the slogan, "We Will Rebuild." |

|

I
designed this before meeting with the owner of a construction
company to roughly illustrate the benefits of placing
a full page, full color ad in the new, glossy edition
of the Real Estate Report. All pre-existing design elements
were pulled directly from the company's website, but
the image quality was not important in this case. |

|
03.2004 |
This
spec ad was designed to demonstrate to a high-end lumber
company how brand image determines a product's position
in the market. The idea was to help the client break
into the Baton Rouge lumber market as a sought-after
luxury. |

This
is a direct marketing piece promoting a Real Estate
Report Cover Sponsorship as "The Ultimate Strategic
Alliance." This phrase references the company's
own website, in which it stresses the importance of
mutually beneficial professional relationships . . .
much like a relationship between the Baton Rouge Business
Report and its Cover Sponsors! |
|

|
04.2004 |
Just a direct mail piece I threw
together to cleverly inform homebuilders and the like
of the exciting improvements being made to the Real
Estate Report. |
|

|

I designed this wall chart for
my corporate projects team to provide an easy way to
track the availability of preferred advertising positions.
We thought the Monopoly theme would be fun, given the
fact that we were selling ads in the Real Estate Report! |
|

|
03.2004 |
More of the same - this is just
wall chart #2. The company names or 'vacancies' that
appear next to a red house icon represent what was sold
the year before. Blanks appear next to the green house
icons to be filled in when a position for the current
year is sold or renewed. |
|

|
06.2003 |
I made this as a backdrop for my
computer when I started working for the AAF, and before
I knew it, most of my coworkers wanted one of their
own! |
|

|
02.2002 |
This appeared in Loyola's newspaper
following homecoming week. The "kiss-a-pig"
competition was only one of many elaborate fundraising
operations I dreamed up to raise money for our Ad Team
that year. If you're in the mood for a funny story,
ask me about that particular venture! |

|
05.2001 |
This full page magazine ad was
designed as part of a complete Integrated Marketing
Communications plan I put together for my introductory
advertising course at Loyola. |

Side one of a UCP brochure I designed
for a layout class at Loyola - this is the "outside"
. . . but it doesn't make much sense unless you factor
in the "inside" and fold the whole thing up. |
|

|
03.2001 |
Here is the "inside"
of the UCP brochure. 'Folded-up' versions of this brochure
are available upon request. |
|

|
10.2001 |
I designed this billboard for the
National D-Day Museum as part of a Copywriting project
at Loyola. If it strikes you as patriotic overkill,
consider that the design was completed less than a month
after the September 11th tragedy occurred. |
|

|
12.2002 |
One of many creative executions
featured in my campaigns class plansbook, highlighting
my pseudo-agency's proposed advertising plan for Loyola's
library. |
|

|
11.2000 |
A yearbook cover I designed for
a Layout project. The theme is inspired, of course,
by the school mascot, the Wolfpack. |
|

|
12.2000 |
Another class project (academic
institutions love taking advantage of free labor, don't
they?) . . . this one is a mailer promoting Loyola's
Communications Department, and it includes a response
card to request additional information. |

07.1999 |
My first website! I designed this
the summer following my high school graduation, during
my internship with 3rd Coast Digital Films. This is
how I taught myself Photoshop and Lightwave 3-D, and
a few others! |
